Where to draw the line between AI and a human

The most common automation mistake is treating it as all-or-nothing: either a human does the whole process, or a bot does. The real skill is drawing a precise line through the middle of a workflow.

AI does the volume

Anything high-volume and low-judgment is a candidate: reading and sorting inbound, extracting and enriching data, scoring against clear criteria, drafting first-pass responses, firing follow-ups, and logging everything automatically.

Humans keep the judgment

Anything that needs taste, context, or a real decision stays with your people: who to hire, which deals deserve attention, the tone of a high-stakes relationship, and knowing when to break the process on purpose.

AI handles the volume. Your people keep the decisions that matter.

Drawn well, the line gives you leverage without losing control. Your team stops doing triage and starts doing the work only they can do, with the context already in front of them, prepared by the system.
