Where does our data live?
On your own machines. Cortex is local first, so notes are plain files you control. If you turn on sync, it is end to end encrypted, so even the sync server cannot read it.
How does meeting transcription work?
It records the call locally and transcribes it with speaker labels. You get a clean, searchable transcript saved as a note, without an AI rewrite of what was said.
Can it replace Notion and Obsidian for us?
